We used a lot of methods when pouring plastic mold. According to the type of gating system, dies can be divided into three categories:
(1) hot runner mold: the die structure is the same as that of the fine nozzle. The biggest difference is that the runner is located in one or more constant temperature hot runner plates and hot joints, no cold material removed from the mold, the runner and gate directly on the product, so the runner does not need to demould. This system is also called anhydrous system, which can save raw materials. It is suitable for higher raw material price and higher quality requirement. The design and processing are difficult, and the die cost is high.
Hot runner system, also known as hot runner system, mainly consists of hot runner sleeve, hot runner plate and temperature control box. Our common hot runner system has two forms of single hot runner and multiple hot runner. The single point hot runner is directly injected into the cavity by using a single hot runner bushing. It is suitable for single cavity single gate plastic mold; multi-point hot gate is used to distribute molten material to each hot gate through hot runner plate. The secondary heating runner sleeve again enters the cavity, and is suitable for single cavity multi-point or multi cavity mold.
(2) Dagu mold: the gate and gate are located on the parting line, and are released with the product when the mold is opened. The design is the simplest, easy to handle and low cost. Therefore, more people use large nozzle system operation.
(3) fine nozzle: runner and gate are not on parting line. Usually, they are directly on the product. Therefore, it is necessary to design a multiple outlet line. The design is more complex and the processing is more difficult. The fine outlet system is usually selected according to product requirements.
